Some people may become concerned when they see a young, defenseless baby with a dog, particularly if the dog belongs to a breed that is known for being “aggressive.” Pit bull dogs are probably at the top in this list because people tend to think of them as unpredictable and occasionally dangerous. However, a mother from California believes that her pet pit bull saved both her and her child’s lives. Baby Masailah and family dog Sasha, according to mother Latana Chai, were born a few days apart and spent every moment together, including taking baths and sharing a bed.
But when a fire broke out in their neighbor’s house, their friendship was about to grow even closer. One Saturday night, at midnight, Latana observed that Sasha was acting suspiciously. “I was like, ‘What is going on?'” after hearing a huge bang. Sasha kept jumping at the door and I could hear her crying. She comes in and begins barking as soon as I get to the door,” Latana remarked, as reported by Kare 11. discovered the pit bull in the infant’s room.
She hurried to Masailah’s room after opening the door to let Sasha in. Subsequently, she observed that a fire was originating from the ceiling and was extending from their neighbor’s residence to their own. When Mom Latana hurried to her infant’s room, she discovered Sasha dragging Masailah to safety by her diaper.
Sasha’s early warning barks are credited by the family for keeping them safe.
